Acid, the chemical formula is C13H15NO2, is an organic compound. The following is a description of its nature, use, formulation and safety information:

Use:
-importantly acid can be used as a pharmaceutical intermediate and plays an important role in the synthesis of drugs.
-It is often used as a source for the preparation of β-imidic acids, piperidine esters and other compounds.

Preparation Method:
-the preparation of acid can be carried out by the following steps:
1. Reaction of benzyl bromopropane with benzaldehyde to give 4-phenyl -4-piperidinemethanol.
2.4-phenyl -4-piperidine methanol was oxidized to give 4-phenyl -4-piperidine aldehyde.
3. Finally, 4-phenyl -4-piperidine aldehyde is reacted with sodium cyanide to generate acid.
